Andy started this podcast to shine a light on the challenges, opportunities, and real experiences of those in the trade. He’s especially passionate about advocating for bricklayers and pushing for better outcomes across the industry as a whole. After spending over 30 years in the trade, he hopes to bring key issues to the table, those that impact the building trade every day.

Andy asked his sister to come on as co-host and she couldn't say no. She is driven to champion trades, apprenticeships, and hands-on training. While all forms of education matter, she believe in the power of learning on the job. Apprenticeships don’t just fast-track people into the workforce, they build skills, confidence, and real-world knowledge that lasts a lifetime.

Andy and Elly have always been close since day one. They grew up together and know how to work as a team, even when they see things differently. That mix of values and fresh perspectives is what makes this podcast work.
